Castellblanc was opened in 1908 by the Parera family, and then expanded by subsequent generations, continuing to pursue excellence in the art of sparkling wine making. Over time, they continue to innovate to update techniques and create quality products. Originally located in the center of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the late 1970s, their facilities moved to the outskirts of town to accommodate increasing demand. As one of the oldest cava producers, Castellblanc has been a pioneer in applying new technology to the manufacturing process, making it an icon in the sparkling wine industry.
