Paloma is a popular cocktail in Mexico, especially during the summer months, renowned for its refreshing tartness and grapefruit flavor. It's typically made with tequila, lime juice, soda, and garnished with a slice of lime. Here's the recipe for Paloma:

Paloma Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) tequila
  • ½ ounce (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • ½ ounce (15 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Soda or carbonated water, such as club soda or grapefruit soda
  • Salt for rimming the glass (optional)
  • Lime slice for garnish

 

Instructions:

  1. If you desire a salt rim, rub a lime wedge along the rim of the glass and dip the
  2. glass into salt to coat the rim.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour tequila, fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup (if using) into the glass.
  5. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Fill the glass with soda or carbonated water until full.
  7. Garnish with a lime slice.
  8. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
